The Madeline Movie: Lost in Paris DVD Giveaway

The Madeline Movie: Lost in Paris DVD is going to be released on April 13th from Shout! Factory. It features the voices of Jason Alexander, Lauren Bacall, Christopher Plummer and Andrea Libman. This is animated feature stars the familiar character Madeline that we know and love.

In case you don't know who Madeline is, let me give you a quick recap of her.  Madeline is an orphan, she lives with 11 other girls who are looked after by a nun.  Madeline tends to have a penchant for finding trouble, and besides the other girls at the boarding school, the neighbor boy Pepito and the smart little dog join in the stories that are told.

Madeline finally realizes the dream of a family, when a long lost uncle from Vienna shows up to visit. Alas, poor little Madeline finds herself in the middle of a scheme, and must be brave and smart to put a wrench in the plan that will take her from her real family, those at Miss Clavel's boarding school. This is a thrilling adventure your young ones won't want to miss!  I watched Madeline with my daughter when she was little, and it hasn't lost its appeal after all these years.

This was a delightful DVD to watch. One minute it is the adoring little girl and the next it's one of the five songs made for the movie. This is one of those movies you will want to add to your collection.
