Episencial Better Body Butter Giveaway

Episencial  is actively healthy skincare that focuses on providing products with green values in mind, and free from all the bad stuff, meaning  no synthetic chemicals. They have seven products in their line, ranging from foaming wash to sunscreen.

When it comes to skin, many are wanting to keep the chemicals to a minimum, so it is reassuring to know that Kim Walls the CEO of Episencial is also a skin care clinician.  Plus, she's a mom who is "proud to be able to offer honestly effective and green products at a reasonable price that can be found at stores she shops in all the time".

The product packaging is colorful and small children will recognize the illustrations as being from the "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.  Bath time and skin care regimens can be done with little hassle when the images on the package are engaging.  Some parents will appreciate it being  different than the cartoon characters that are used to promote a lot of children's products.

Episencial recently provided me with a sample of their Better Body Butter (Strawberry).

Better Body Butter is a silky soft hydrating lotion, that uses organic olive oil, Shea butter, and sunflower seed oil to restore natural skin lipids. The organic lavender and geranium oils in it sooth and calm the skin, as well as preserve product freshness. It also contains calming oat extract that boosts skin immunity.

I thought the lotion comes out of the bottle nicely, it is thin enough that you don't have to squeeze the packaging to get it out, but it's consistency is not runny.  The lotion absorbed into the skin with not much rubbing needed.  I really like lotions that absorb into the skin quickly.

I used the lotion on my feet because they are horribly dry, and I was pleased to see that after a few days it did appear to be taking care of the scaly, dry skin especially on my heel area.  The skin on my feet is now very soft to the touch.

One lucky reader will receive a Better Body Butter from Episencial.

To enter visit Episencial and leave a comment below letting me know one other product that you think sound interesting (besides the Better Body Butter) or something you learned from their website that wasn't mentioned in this post.
