Giveaway: The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

Seventeen year old Veronica "Ronnie" Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church.
My Review
I picked up The Last Song and read it in three days. As with all the Nicholas Sparks' books I have read, I enjoyed it very much. While much of the storyline is predictable, it does not take away from getting involved in the book and reading how the characters evolve from beginning to end. The story is thought provoking and emotional, and leaves you with tears in your eyes, and a smile on your face.
Perfect for book clubs there is a reading group guide that goes along with it as well. It is sure to produce much discussion.
