Chicken Soup for the Soul: Teacher Tales Giveaway
Let's all take a trip down memory lane, into the hallways of the schools we attended.
How did you relate to the teachers you had through the years? I believe everyone has at least one teacher that fully stands out in their memory. For good...or bad reasons. Teachers are powerful influences in a child's life.
Chicken Soup for the Soul: Teacher Tales shares the stories of teachers and students in America. Travel from state to state within its covers, where you will have the pleasure of reading the musings of the 2009 state teachers of the year. The foreword is written by Anthony J. Mullen who had the honor of being named 2009 National Teacher of the Year.
Sometime between the first and the hundred an first story, you will remember the face of one of your teachers. Maybe the one you had in Kindergarten or perhaps a high school teacher.
While most teachers will not change the course of history, the many tales in this book will prove that they can and do indeed change the course of a student's life.
Teachers don't receive near enough appreciation for the important job they hold, and I really think that if there is a special teacher in your family's life, this would be an encouraging book to gift them with.
I have 3 Chicken Soup for the Soul: Teacher Tales books to give away.
To enter leave me a comment telling me about a teacher that inspired you.

My sixth grade teacher inspired me and continues to do so to this day. She made me believe in myself and that I can accomplish whatever I set my mind to. She also picks out wonderful children's books for my boys even though I am half way across the country.

I had a wonderful English teacher from 10th-12th grades that helped with those hard teenage years for me (I was an overweight teen). Mrs. Hurd was awesome; she had us write journals and would write "back" to us-- I think it really helped me!

My home economics teacher was the most inspirational to me. She taught me so much and we spent a lot of time together due to me being a peer educator. Thanks.

I had a teacher in high school that a lot of kids made fun of cause she was considered a bit weird and talked a lot. I felt sorry for her. But you know what...she took everything so well. She knew people were making fun of her, but she still kept a smile on her face, said hello to everyone, and was nice to everyone. She never let anyone get her down. That is quite inspiring. Thank you.
