Permalink Rainbow Brite's New Look Giveaway
I'm finding it difficult to digest that Rainbow Brite is 25. Because that means I'm old! She is aging much more gracefully than I am though, and I think I need to find the salon Hallmark uses because Rainbow Brite has received quite the makeover.
I personally never had a Rainbow Brite doll (although I recall being green with envy at my friends who did), and I know I requested her sprite Twink to be under the tree one year (sigh, I didn't get one of those either).
I did however, watch Rainbow Brite thwart Murky and Lurky whenever I could.
Now I'm kind of nostalgic for that older version of Rainbow Brite, the dolls that looked like little girls. But I can see how the girls of 2010 might connect more with this new fashion doll type characterization. (I am glad that the sprites have kept heir loveable, cuddly appearance.)
The new Rainbow Brite dolls, along with her companions Moonglow, Tickled Pink and their respective horse friends, are available at Target and Toys R Us.

My daughter would love using this CD. My oldest daughter used to play with Rainbowbrite. I think I would give it to her as a "Remember when" gift and she can share it with her little girl (my granddaughter). Thank you for the giveaway. Have a very Happy Valentine's Day!
