Monkey See, Monkey Do, Monkey Make!

I have always had a liking for Sock Monkeys.  They are just the cutest things.

In yesterday's post I told you abou tthe Disney Pillowcase Art kits from Janlynn.  They also have super fun Peejay Sock Monkey kits to make your very own stuffed pet.

Each kit (recommended for ages 8+) contains socks, buttons, cotton floss, felt, flannel (may vary), pom- pom, embroidery needle, and instructions in English, French and Spanish.  You will also need scissors and stuffing.  While a sewing machine is not required, it does make it easier and faster for some parts.

There are abundant things to say about the Peejay Sock Monkey kit.  It's an excellent activity to work on when you and your kids are housebound due to the snow or rain.  It's educational (great for a homeschool project), and allows for creativity by giving your Sock Monkey its own personality.

Amber (and remember she's 13!), thought this was awesome, and has loved Sock Monkeys since she saw the one in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.  She was so excited to make one on her own.

So if you want to be crafty, but need a little help, here's the answer:  Janlynn's Peejay Sock Monkey kit.

And you may end up with something just this cute!

Check out Janlynn.com for the Peejay Sock Monkey kit ($9.99) and other activities for crafty inspiration.

I was provided a Peejay Sock Monkey kit from Janlynn at no cost to myself for the purpose of this post.  No monetary compensation was received.  All opinions are my own.

I love the sock monkey. You did a great job on him. He is so cute. I don't think there's an age for this one. He's good for the young at heart, too.

Yours turned out great! Some of my grandkids might like this project. And it is a very reasonable craft kit.
