Disney Pillowcase Art

What child is not familiar with the popular Disney characters? Especially the younger ones, who adore having their special space decked out with their favorite movie pals.

When Amber was 5 she went through a Buzz Lightyear phase, and she wanted everything in her room to show that Buzz was "the" best thing in inner and outer space!

Which brings us back to the Disney characters and where your child lays their head.  Janlynn has wonderfully fun (and practical) Pillowcase Art kits featuring your kids' favorite Disney movies and characters.  Hannah Montana, Disney Princesses and Cars are just a few of the options available.

Janlynn is a private, family business, whose core values center on maintaining the "family" in family business... treating employees, customers, consumers and suppliers with the same degree of respect as is found in strong family units.

You can tell that too, by the kind of activity kits and crafts they offer to the consumer.

Amber got a very cool Narnia Prince Caspian Pillowcase Art to make.

The kit contains: one permanent ink screen printed, polyester pillowcase. 16 non toxic crayons and instructions.  The pillow case is approximately 20"x30".

The instructions are easy to follow and they even give helpful coloring tips in order to make sure you obtain the best results.  In order for the color to set in, adult supervision is required, as it is heat-set with an iron.  There are also some specific washing instructions to help you keep the pillowcase looking its best.

Disney Pillowcase Art kits are sold two ways.  The individual pillowcases retail at about $9.99 a piece.  There are so many fun ideas for these.

Commemorate the loss of teeth, by letting your little girl color an I Believe in Fairies Pillowcase Art, and then place the tooth under the pillowcase for the Tooth Fairy to take away.  How about one with Mickey and the Gang to take on your next theme park trip.  Have the gang all sign the back in permanent markers and then you have a wonderful, useful souvenir.  Pillowcase Art for Trick or Treating and Christmas are available too.

Pillowcase Art also come in Party Packs.  A package of 8 at $26.99 is a steal for a party activity.  That's just $3.37 a piece, and the party goer will go home with a great memory of the day.  So whether your tween is into Camp Rock or your son can't get enough of Lightning McQueen, there's something for everyone.  (Just be sure to wash the pillowcases before your guest arrive, so they are ready to color.)

Pillowcase Art and more fun activities are available online at Janlynn.com or you can find some of their products at major craft and variety retail chains (such as Michael's, Wal-Mart and Jo-Ann's) as well as small retailers as well.

I was provided with a Pillowcase Art kit at no cost to myself on behalf of Janlynn for the purpose of this post, no monetary compensation was provided. All opinions are my own.

my little boy will be having surgery soon and has to spend some time afterwards being calm....I will have to have lots for him to do. This would be a great thing to have on hand for that.

Man, I wish Nick would make some of these pillows with Spongebob on them. They would be a great party favor for my daughter's Spongebob party in the summer.

I know you heat-set the color but did you guys have any trouble with it getting on to your daughter's face or clothes after being slept on or bleeding in the wash?

OMG! These are a great idea for kids' party's. I have never heard of them before, but they look like so much fun. My daughter loves very interactive, hands on activities and I think she would love these. I am going to keep them in mind for her birthday. Thanks for sharing this idea.

My daughter has opened her package and has misplaced the instructions, can someone help me out with the instructions on how to iron them? I am supposed to use wax paper if I am not mistaken???
Thanks in advance for any help!!

These look like great fun -- and I love Katie's suggestion to use them at a children's party. Thanks for the review - and for letting us know where the pillowcases are available!
