Thicker Than Blood by C.J. Darlington Giveaway

TitleTrakk.com Blog Tours Presents:

Thicker than Blood
by C.J. Darlington
Published by Tyndale House

Winner of the
2008 Christian Writers Guild Operation First Novel Contest!

Little more than children sisters Christy and May become estranged, when after their parents' funeral Christy drops her sister at their aunt's home and never returns.
Fifteen years later, Christy's life is a mess and she drinks to forget.

May, having been mentored by their aunt during the years Christy has been gone, has become a God fearing woman, but has constantly wondered what she did to make Christy leave all those years ago.

A relationship gone bad has Christy seeking out refuge with May, and both sisters learn that there is more than the blood flowing through their veins that can tie them together.

This is C.J. Darlington's (of TitleTrakk.com) first novel.  Started when she was a 15 year old homeschooled student, the story evolved into the deep tale you find between the book's pages.  it explores the depe need we all have for feeling accepted by family and friends, and culminates in the most satisfying relationship imaginable.

The book flows wonderfully, with an interesting storyline filled with real life characters.

With a clear gospel message, this may be a book you want to share with someone you know struggling with the need to feel acceptance.

For an author's first novel, Thicker Than Blood is impressive, be sure to keep a watch out for future novels from C.J. Darlington.

I am giving away the copy I received from TitleTrakk Blog Tours for review.

She has been in the antiquarian bookselling business for over a decade, scouting for stores similar to the one described in Thicker than Blood before cofounding her own online bookstore, wow I can't believe how young she is.
