HALLS Refresh: Deliciously Mouth-Watering
Winter is fast approaching, tomorrow it is October 1st you know. Here in the Northern Plains we might have a grace period of about 45 days before those white flakes start falling and the temperatures plummet. Along with that season, comes the dryness, the throat tickles, the coughs...
Here in the U.S., HALLS has been committed to keeping you at your best since the 1950's and this year they launched an innovative new product HALLS Refresh, with Advanced Moisture Action.
HALLS Refresh is specially formulated to help moisten your mouth. What I really like about it though is that it's sugar free and has only 6 calories per piece. It's perfect for diabetics and others who are trying to watch their sugar intake.
I received two flavors to try for my review. Juicy Strawberry and Tropical Wave. They also come in Refreshing Mint.
The Tropical Wave has a great taste to it. It really is enjoyable to suck on and does not exude that "cough lozenge" expected flavor.
The flavor of the strawberry on the other hand just slightly eeked out over the "menthol-y" taste. I tried a few of them in a row, and then one here and there at different times, but just couldn't get into them.
We were watching t.v. one evening and I started getting a tickle in my throat then I started to cough. You know the kind that comes out of nowhere. I grabbed one of these to suck on so we could watch the rest of the program in peace. It lasted about 10 minutes in my mouth, and it really did seem to moisten it up.
I had a good 30 minutes of relief after the first Refresh drop, and then felt that tickle come back. I popped another one in, and was fine for the rest of the night.
If you find yourself having a dry mouth on occasion and feel the need for a bit of a "Refresh"er for it you may want to try these out. I think they would come in handy in your jacket, purse or desk drawer for those time you are bothered by a dry mouth or a tickle in your throat, and just need a quick fix.

I grabbed a few bags of these at Walgreens this week (money maker after Register Rewards & coupon)!
Delicious! They were much more like a candy than a cough drop. Now I have to hid them from my daughter or she'll eat them all:)
Too bad Hall's has to resort to teacher /student attractions to sell a reliable product. such an advertisemwnr is not funny, but very inappropriate to show such an attraction between a female adult and male minor. All in very poor judgment
