My review:
Off Season is a contemplative novel, even more than most in its genre because it is so well written. The characters are real and enduring. If you have not read a book by Anne River Siddon's before, you just might be reading the rest of them after finishing this one. I didn't just enjoy Off Season, I was captivated by it. It digs down into the young life of Lilly and keeps the pages turning.
