I am reading a book that will be highlighted later this week for a FIRST Wild Card book tour, and the author used Deuteronomy Chapter 30 as part of a conversation. I have read this often but she used it in a scenario that just hit home.

Deuteronomy 30 is about life and death, blessing and curse. God begs us to choose life - following His Word - so that He can bless us. Why would we (or do we, because I know I choose death far more than I choose life), choose death and walk away from God's blessings?
