Camp Wallaballa

Last year a friend of Amber's invited her to attend music camp at her church. It's really quite amazing! Sort of a VBS for older kids.

The kids learn an entire musical from start to finish, make the sets themselves and learn about God's Word through the entire week. Then at the end of the week they perform the musical to family and friends.

This year they are doing the Lillenas musical Camp Wallaballa.

I dropped Amber and another friend of her's off this morning for the first day of camp. I'm excited to see and hear the entire production on Friday evening!

Of course I'm also excited that I have a whole week to get things done around home without teenage interruption! (Although Hubby will be home for three of the five days, so I guess I'll still have someone underfoot after all.)
