Remain CD Review

I received the cd Remain by Tyrone Wells from Universal Republic to review.

I'm new to Tyrone Wells. At least the name associated with the songs. His songs have been featured on some hit tv shows in the past, so it's entirely possible I've enjoyed them somewhere along the way, but just didn't realize it. If you've ever seen the A&E tv show, Intervention, his song "More" (the second track on this album) is featured.

If you don't already know who Tyrone Wells is, let me just say, he's an extremely talented singer.

While I would basically classify this cd as pop, it's actually a combination of a number of styles, nonetheless every track sounds great.

I have no doubt that there will be a lot more of Tyrone's beautiful voice and lyrics hitting the airwaves and other media in the future. I think that is because his music has wide appeal. While we had it playing in the car, my almost 13 year old was pouring over the cd case, telling me that it was "cool", and I have to say that her taste leans more towards teenybop music generally. So to have her say that about a cd that I found very enjoyable to listen to also was nice. No more arguing about what cd to pop in the player anymore!

If you are looking for good music and this is the type of style you like, this is definitely a cd that you will appreciate. Check it out for yourself, if you go to Amazon.com you can hear a sampling of the songs on this cd.
