Flanigan Farms - Review

Can you believe that January is over and we're already into February? Unbelievable. With spring on the horizon I bet a lot of you are already signing your kids up for soccer and baseball. Do your kids bring snacks for themselves or their team to the games? Well I have a great one to introduce to you.

Flanigan Farms Natural Foods Trail Mixes. These are completely natural snacks, that are made without any added salt, sugars, oils or preservatives. Because they have no sodium, these are perfect for sports snacks.

Flanigan Farms offers two different kinds of trail mixes. Nuts 'N' Things®, a classic trail mix with dry roasted peanuts, California raisins, sunflower seeds, cashews, almonds and pumpkin seeds. The other variety is their Nuts 'N' Fruit™, a more gourmet mix (no peanuts here!) with California almonds, raisins, dates (dusted with oat flour), cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and dried organic persimmons.

Now I bet your asking, but do these trail mixes taste good? That's what it's really all about right? And since I was able to try both kinds, I can assure you they do!

What I noticed right away about the samples I received was that there was a sell by date stamped on them. Since there are no preservatives in these mixes, you know by the date stamped on the package, that you are getting only the freshest of mixes to eat. These were fresh. In the Nuts 'N' Fruit™ mix the raisins, dates and persimmons were soft to chew, and had a rich flavor.

Genius tried them too, and what she really like about it was that there was a nice assortment of nuts. She really liked the fact that there were almonds in the mix (she loves almonds.), and that she could taste them! A lot of the other trail mixes we have purchased in the past, have had coatings on the nuts or the nuts have absorbed the flavors of the other items in the mix. Not so with the Flanigan Farms ones.

Flanigan Farms also wants to help you and your communities out. They offer a fundraising program that is perfect for Sports Teams, Homeschool Associations, Churches, pretty much any organization you could think of that needs some extra help to realize certain goals.
The fundraising bags are 2.5oz to 3oz, and the organization buys a case of 36 for $36.00, then you sell them for $2.00 each, netting your group a $36.00 profit. It's a win win situation for everyone. The organization gets the resources they need to achieve their goal, and the buyer gets an affordable and healthy snack.

Even better, Flanigan Farms offers free shipping on the first fundraising order and they supply order forms & distribution bags at no extra cost.

If you are interested in this for your group you can check out their fundraising page here.

Flanigan Farms was started in 1970, by a mom and dad, who wanted healthy snacks for their daughters, when they noticed a lack of them available. Now the trail mixes are only a portion of what they have to offer.

If you live in Southern California, you may already have seen these natural snacks at retailers. For the rest of us, their products can be purchased online at Flanigan Farms.

If you are interested in trying their products, they have an Internut (nope that wasn't a typo) Coupon for you to use at check out. Just use the code Go Nuts on any nuts, seeds & trail mixes purchased online and you will save 15%.

Thank you Alida, for allowing me to taste and share about Flanigan Farms!
