Holey Donuts! Review, Coupon Code & Contest
Do you ever get a craving for a really good donut? I grew up chowing down on yeast donuts on a regular basis. When we moved to the city we're living in, all I could find were cake donuts. That didn't leave me overly pleased. Finally, finally a donut shop opened in town, but it didn't last long (what is wrong with all the people in the city I live in!?!) and closed up. Which left me with that elusive hunt for a good yeast donut
And then I got to experience Holey Donuts (okay well I actually got to try their cinnamon buns, but I'm absolutely positive they sell the donuts I'm looking for). Get this, not only do their baked goods taste delicious, they are ...low in fat and calories! No joke.
Frank Dilullo founder of Holey Donuts! spent his childhood in the back of a donut shop which eventually led to his running and owning his own donut shops. Always having a love for donuts, he set out to create a donut like no other; something that would elevate donuts to a new level; something more high-end, more gourmet, and really just the best donut you could make. Then one day, he walked away from the deep fat fryer and began to actually cook his donuts in a different way.
Having a feeling that these donuts had to be very low in fat, he sent samples off to an FDA approved lab for testing… low and behold, they had less than 3 grams of fat.
So my family and I got to try the Jumbo Reduced Fat Cinnamon Buns, the Jumbo Reduced Fat Blueberry Vanilla Cinnamon Buns and their Low Fat Cinnamon Bun Middles. Okay, I got to try the Blueberry Vanilla Cinnamon Buns - they got eaten before anyone else could try them...
Delicious, seriously I can't even tell you how much I like them. You would never, I mean never guess that they were low fat. We enjoyed all the varieties, but the Cinni Middles are evil, because you can just keeping popping them in your mouth. I suppose the good side to that is they are only 100 calories a piece!
To stay as fresh as possible these morsels are frozen and shipped by FedEx (because of that, shipping is a little on the high side, but it is right in line or less than similar companies that provide shipping of frozen items). Once you received them, keep them in your freezer, it's pure bliss to have a donut or cinnamon roll any time you want, just pop them in the microwave!
To impress you even more, Holey Donuts! has more than 20 flavors, which include Boston Cream Oreo and Chocolate Fudge Crumb...(hey you, wipe the drool off the keyboard okay?)
So here's the deal Holey Donuts! has this absolutely fabulous deal for the readers of my blog. OK. I have GOT to try these. I am hearing about them all over the internet! They seem too good to be true? I'm trying to lose weight and haven't had a donut in over 3 months. I can't believe I can even type that without crying.
I get donut cravings all the time but we live in an area where there are no donut shops for many many miles. How fun would it be to get donuts in the mail that were waiting for the next craving!
