Ice Cream is there anything better in summer than Ice Cream? (I've been posting about that a lot lately haven't I?) My two favorite flavors of ice cream are Pumpkin and Eggnog -- hmph do you see my problem? It's like they are an illusion, a vapor, they come out as "special editions" at Thanksgiving and Christmas and then poof nothing more for a whole year. But wait Ice Cream Source (yes can you believe it there is an online Ice Cream store!!) is sponsoring a contest at Moms..in a Blog, and Ice Cream Source apparently sells Eggnog ice cream all year round!!! Who knew?
So what? you say. Big deal. Why should you deserve to win some Eggnog ice cream lady? Well I'll tell you why. There is nothing more fabulous than Christmas in July! (well it may be August by the time this gets chosen, but you get the point). The taste, the texture, the smell. I quiver at the memories both of Christmas, real Eggnog, and well Eggnog Ice Cream (which I must say is far more appropriate eating in summer than at Christmas when every grocery store in America stocks it).
So if Moms in a Blog can do what the major grocery store chains in America can not, and provide me with Eggnog ice cream in summer...well they're just better (and nicer) than Santa.

I think that same thing! I love the peppermint ice cream that they come out with only during the holidays. I mean they can have ice with choclate covered gummy worms everyday...but not plain ol' pink peppermint ice cream?
