Happy Easter ~ A Unique EasterHunt

Easter HuntHappy Easter to all my readers.

Easter is a very important holiday to my family. While Christmas celebrates the Babe that came to Earth as fully God and fully man – Easter is the fulfillment of that event. The victory of life over death and the hope that each of us can have if we accept the gift that Christ offers us through His death and resurrection.

I received an e-mail in my inbox, and today seems like a good day to share about it with you. I don’t get anything for sharing this – I just think it’s a pretty neat thing to download to your iPhone, iTouch or iPad today if you have a couple of bucks to spare.

EasterHunt is an interactive family devotional app. It is designed to help parents lead their children to the Gospel by using simple games and devotionals. The children play games where they must find and then open an egg to receive a “treasure”. The treasure that pops out is an illustration that gives a visual theme for a devotional, which then you can read as a family.

The app is designed for children as young as four, and the devotionals teach your children about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus using the devotional as a launching point.

When the “EasterHunt” is complete, the last level presents the empty tomb. Your children can “talk” with the angels who will share the message that “He is not here, for He is risen!”

HE IS RISEN INDEED! HAPPY EASTER !
