Why not add a little Mediterranean flair to your next party, or just the next time you feel like 'dipping'? Here's a great dip to pair with pita chips or tortillas. It's even tasty to dip french fries in! If you're not a fan of mayo you can easily substitute Greek yogurt instead. The fresh zing of the lemon juice perfectly complements the warmth of the paprika and garlic.

February. That time of the year when things just feel...blah. The holidays are over, spring still is a while away, many of us are stuck inside for one reason or another and those winter blues kick in. So with the help of Honey Bunches of Oats 'Bake at Home' Granola Snackers I hosted a party at my home, invited some friends and we had a great time talking and snacking those winter blahs away!
It's just a few weeks now until the 'Big Game.' I was really into football this year, but since my team suffered a loss yesterday, February 1st is going to be more about the food for me than the actual game .
I personally think Big Game parties are all about grazing. A little of this, a little of that. Savory. Salty. Sweet. Crunchy. Chewy. A combination of all of the aforementioned.

One of the companies that I connected with at the Moms Meet WOW Summit last month in Orlando was That's How We Roll.
That's How We Roll is a small business that started in New Jersey about 2 years go. They have since grown leaps and bounds and now have two brands - Party-Tizers Dippin' Chips™ and Mrs. Thinster's Cookie Thins™. You may have already seen their packages in most major grocery chains in the deli section.

Not quite two weeks ago we dropped our daughter off at college. My husband and I spent the car ride home reminiscing about all the school years from Kindergarten until now. From first days of the school years to field trips, to packing lunches and after school activities. Things have changed so much for us now!
This made me realize- I'm in the position of sharing what I've learned over the years with moms who are just starting out on this journey.
Here in our Texas community families are counting down the days until school starts. August 25th. That's just a little more than 3 weeks! And that's when the chaos of early mornings, afternoon pickups, dance lessons, soccer games, homework, girl & boy scout meetings....well yeah ALL of that begins again. Time is precious but there is only so much of it in our days and sometimes it's just easier to have things prepared for us in advance. For healthy snacking that's already prepped for you, Chiquita Bites have you covered.
I love Fruity Pebbles. There I said it. I am not kidding. When my sister came to visit with her boys last year she was in my pantry and said "it was so nice of you to buy Fruity Pebbles for the kids for breakfast." Umm yeah, okay, I went along with it ;)
It all stems from when I was a kid. You couldn't get Fruity Pebbles in Canada (maybe you still can't? I don't know!). We would do our twice a year shopping trips over the border and my 'treat' was a box of Fruity Pebbles. I would ration that cereal like it was gold.
S'mores are a favorite summer treat for most everyone, but if you want to switch it up a bit, a great way to do it is to add a banana to the mix.
Now I'm a big fan of bananas in any way, shape or form, but if you've never had grilled bananas before the texture might take a while to get used to. The bananas do get soft, especially if they are at peak ripeness, plus as you probably know bananas get brown when they get warm.

I have a few blogging friends that are SO creative, they make these incredibly cute and healthy Bento Box lunches for their children to take to school (or even to eat at home!). I was lucky if I remembered to take the ice pack out of the freezer or pack a spoon for the yogurt when I was making lunches for Amber...
But today I'm beaming from ear to ear because I think I nailed a cute Cinco de Mayo Bento Box idea for you guys to run with, make all your own and one up me on (because admittedly I just don't have the supplies to make it as awesome as it could be like those seasoned Bento moms). How fun would it be to pack something like this in their lunches on May 5th?
Are you as excited as my daughter is about the release of the Disney movie FROZEN on DVD on Tuesday, March 18th? And I'm excited about the price rollback of the DVD at Walmart from $16.96 to $14.96. Even better...if you pick up some specially marked 24 ct. boxes of Eggo Waffles there's a $5.00 coupon on it for the FROZEN DVD as well. Waffles and a movie...that's some affordable entertainment right there folks!
