See Where the Good Goes

Local health workers are critical when it comes to newborn and child survival in the developing world. Thanks to the extension of basic health care by local health workers to children and mothers in developing countries, a child is being saved every 4 seconds.  “See Where the Good Goes” supports these local health workers.

GoodGoes.org:  Features a customized Google map application of the local health worker’s village, blog posts, video bios, and a menu of ways people can get involved in this campaign to make a difference.

For a look at the faces that they are helping, watch the video below.

You are one step away from helping children around the world survive.

There are many ways you can help. You could contact Congress or the White House to urge action, or join the growing group of activists, or just share one of our videos with your friends. See all the simple steps you can take to help the good go further.

I also have a GoodGoes.org pedometer that one reader will receive. Thousands of local health workers walk miles each week to check on newborns and treat children with life threatening illnesses. The pedometer is for you to measure your own steps and keep yourself healthy! It also serves as reminder that you are just one step away from supporting local health workers.

To enter the giveaway visit GoodGoes.org and tell me one way you can take action to help good go further.

Open to US Residents ages 18+, ends July 25, 2010 at 11:59 PM CST. Winner will be notified by email and have 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen. By entering this giveaway you are stating that you have read my **Privacy/Rules statements and agree to them.
