Personalized Items Make Great Grandparents Day Gifts

So it is that time of the year to go shopping for Grandparents Day gifts.  PrintArtKids makes that a fun activity for your children.

They have numerous products that can be personalized with your child's artwork or photo, and the gifts are something that the grandparents will find useful and love.  What grandparent doesn't love to show off the things their grandchildren have created?  PrintArtKids is the place to go for personalized notebooks, notepads, and other items.

The items will also make your child feel special  and excited to see their artwork on a tangible product.

I was able to try out the process of creating notebooks ($29.99 for a package of three 5.5" x 8.5"; lined or unlined) at PrintArtKids.com.  Ordering your products on their site is really quite easy.  First decide what you want on your item.  You can take a photo of your child's artwork to upload, or if you have a scanner, scan the image to upload.  (Remember to have the picture/photo orientated the way you want it to appear on your product before uploading it).

Choose what product you want to create, upload your picture, then follow the instructions for the product you've chosen.  Easy!

Amber wanted some (more!) notebooks to draw in, and wanted one of her chibi drawings on the cover.  The process was as simple as I mentioned above.  This is how they turned out.  (The dark patches is just my shadow while I was taking the picture, and the words are added to the photo they are not on the notebook).

In addition to the cover picture, you can also add a caption to the back cover.  So you can put "I Love You", "Made Especially for You by Junior", or "Grandparents Day 2010", in that space, or whatever you want.  That's another feature that makes these products so personal.

All of the items on PrintArtKids can be created with artwork and/or photos.  Some of them can even be customized with personalized messages in a variety of fonts and colors.  Holiday Cards, Postcards and Photo Products can be created using multiple images.  Captions are an option on the backs of the Note Cards, Holiday Cards as well as the Notebooks.

The PrintArtKids website is geared toward juvenile art, however, all products can be created using more sophisticated artwork and photography.  PrintArtKids will also partner with professional photographers and artists to create customized products featuring their art and photos.

Once an order is received, the owner makes sure that the images are clear and that there are no areas of concern (fuzzy image, stray marks, erased pencil lines, etc.)  If there are any concerns, she personally contacts the customer, works with them to correct the area of concern, and recreates the order if necessary, all of which is usually performed at no extra charge.  (There would be a fee for any major corrections or any image retouching.)

By ordering from PrintArtKids, you support an independently owned and operated mom-owned business.
As a way to "give back to the community", PrintArtKids frequently sponsors school and community fundraising events.

Make sure to get your orders in by September 1st, for standard shipping delivery in time for Grandparents Day (September 12).
