O-Cedar ProMist Dry or Wet Cleaning System

We have tile floors in most of our home.  I specifically chose a color and texture that would minimize the appearance of dirt, because what you can't see, you don't have to clean...right?

Actually, I'm a cleaner at heart, but the last few weeks between blogging and other obligations, my cleaning routine has been sadly neglected.  So it's a good thing I was sent the O-Cedar ProMist Wet or Dry Cleaning System to review, because it forced me to get away from my monitor and clean those floors!

This brand new system from O-Cedar (it's so new, when I was typing up this post, it wasn't even on their website yet) has some great features:

* You don't have to put it together.  It's already assembled when you buy it, so no pieces suddenly "unlock" or "buckle" when you are mopping up.  If you've used other similar systems you know what I'm talking about.  It swivels well around things like baseboards and toilets, so you can get to every part of your floor.

* The pads (two are included) both the re-usable scrubber pad and the semi-disposable pad (re-use this one or throw it away) are washable.  The scrubber pad is washable up to 100 times!  It will save you money!  The semi-disposable microfiber pad did a FANTASTIC job dry sweeping my floors.  I'm almost embarrassed to show this picture.

 So when I wet mopped...it still picked up what I missed but there was far less dust & dirt to clean up

 * The best part in my opinion by far though, is that the refillable container allows you to use any cleaning solution you want.  I LOVE that about this product.

* The trigger to spray is built into the handle.  You do have to fully squeeze it to get a wide spray of your cleaner.  So in smaller enclosed areas you may want ot relax your tension on it.  My stove and my island are pretty close together.  That being said, I ended up having to clean my oven drawer as the spray completely covered it when spraying that section of my floor (that's not a completely bad thing though, because my stove did need cleaning ).

One other thing I'd like to point out is neither the container nor the nozzle leaked.  I even held it upside down to test.  No drips what so ever, another plus!

So be on the lookout for this when you're at the store.  It's a great product for a housewarming, fall cleaning or the college dorm room!
