Kraft Fresh Take - Cheese Breadcrumb Mix

When I was at the Kraft BlogEats conference last October we got to try out a brand new product that was completely under embargo for us to talk about. It was still so “secret” that we couldn’t even mention it was going to be in the stores this year. But now we can and I’m excited to share it with you.

You might have already seen it in your dairy section along with the shredded cheeses and such – it’s called Fresh Take and what it does is make a home cooked meal easier! With complementary seasonings paired with shredded cheese and breadcrumbs, Fresh Take will have your family gobbling up the chicken, pork or fish from their plates.

Breaded chicken is a classic dish in our house, traditionally I’ll make it with an egg wash and Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, but the other night I took the Fresh Take Italian Parmesan and in no time at all, I had restaurant worthy chicken served up for my family.  My husband and daughter have definite likes and dislikes when it comes to foods - and this variety of Fresh Take was a big hit at our dinner table.

Here is a picture essay on how easy it is to use Fresh Take.

In addition to the Italian Parmesan, Fresh Take is also available in Southwest Three Cheese, Rosemary & Roasted Garlic, Cheddar Jack & Bacon, Chili Lime & Panko and Savory Four Cheese. Each package will coat 6 average pieces of meat and the package retails for $2.99. Kraft has great recipes inside the cardboard wrapper and on the website for other ways to use Fresh Take in your meals besides just a basic ‘coat & bake’ approach.

These are definitely going to be on my grocery short list to have on hand in the fridge.

I was invited to participate in a behind-the-scenes blogger conference with the Kraft Kitchens, for which Kraft provided full travel expenses, meals and accommodations and product samples, coupons and premiums, however my opinions are completely my own and I have not been compensated to publish positive or negative reviews of the event or products associated with my experience.
