How to Make Apple Pie in 33 Minutes Or Less

Over the years I've tried to make apple pie.  Somewhere in the midst of it all, I realized a good homemade apple pie coming out of my oven, was never going to happen.  I no longer beat my head against the counter, and resigned myself to eating it elsewhere.

A couple of weeks ago, I learned about Banquet Fruit Pies.  My spirits were lifted at the idea of being able to have an easy to make apple pie that I could enjoy (and serve) in my home, from a company I trust.  Each Banquet fruit pie has a half serving of real fruit inside a flaky pastry shell that bakes fresh and hot from your oven (in 33 minutes) or microwave (even less time!).  The pies come in three classic flavors; apple, peach and cherry berry.  I chose to get the apple flavor for my review -- and I served them for dessert when we had guests the other night.

They were pronounced very good from our guests, and my family.  The apple filling had the tart taste, just like homemade.  A scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and it was delicious.  I'm really glad to have found a way to make a tasty apple pie, with no effort and for an affordable price too, seeing as I picked them up for just 89¢ a piece.

If you are interested in seeing what Banquet Fruit Pies taste like for yourself, from August 26-28, 650 select Walmarts nationwide are offering in-store demonstrations with free samples of the pies topped with Reddi-Wip!
