Chicken Soup for the Soul: Find Your Happiness - Give Away

Being happy isn’t always the easiest thing to do.  When we’re always on the go expending our time and energy, sometimes feeling like we’re on a treadmill and not really going anywhere, happy is the furthest thing from our mind.  I find myself asking “Why Me?” some days and then catch myself, because I know I DO have a lot to be happy about.

The stories in Chicken Soup for the Soul’s Find Your Happiness will help you gain a better picture of what it means to be happy.  Deborah Norville found during a tough time in her career that a forgotten pastime of sewing could stir the feeling of pride and happiness in her.

What I found interesting about many of the stories is that it was by focusing on others that so many of the authors were able to say they were happy.

Reading this book has been helpful for me, I decided at the end of the day to find one thing that made me happy, no matter how small it was and then be thankful for it and constructively use that thing to make the next day happy for someone else.

If you or someone you know is going through a specific problem in their life right now that is making it difficult to be happy, this is a book that you will probably be able to relate too.  Many of the stories are not all sunshine and lollipops.  They’re about real people that had/have real struggles and in the midst of it all…have found happiness.

Chicken Soup for the Soul Find Your Happiness: 101 Inspirational Stories about Find Your Purpose, Passion, and Joy is available at your favorite bookseller.
