Caterpillar Crawlers Baby Socks Giveaway

I have more fun looking at baby items now, then I think I did 15 years ago when I found out I was pregnant.  Today I'm going to share another item from Baby Aspen a sock covered bug, I promise you it's not your regular creepy crawler, this one is mighty cute! (How could it not be from a company who's tag line is Give. Play. Cuddle. Dream.™?)

I actually spent quite a bit of time, admiring the presentation of the Caterpillar Crawlers Baby Socks.  It's really quite a delightful show piece.  This one gift, started me thinking how you could theme a whole baby shower around it.  A story themed shower around the classic book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", why what a perfect gift for baby to compliment the theme!  (Yes go ahead purchase the socks ($14.99), and run with the idea, unfortunately there are no baby showers in mine or my friends immediate futures that I know of.)

Sigh, then I made myself take it apart so I could show you the cute little socks, and comment on how soft they are, and vibrantly colored.  I stretched the tops of them, and the elastic was sewn in well and had a nice stretch to it.  I would have even strutted around in them myself if I fit a 0-6 month sock size .

I just think that the Caterpillar Crawlers Baby Socks are adorable.

Back to The Very Hungry Caterpillar themed shower though.  If the socks don't get you thinking about it, how about these Kate Aspen Shake Rattle & Crawl Ceramic Salt and Pepper Shakers?  These caterpillars would just make everyone smile (not scream!) being next to their plates.

Not having a sit down lunch?  Then just have a couple at either end of the vegetables on the buffet tables, at $5.63 or less they are an affordable way to add a bit of whimsy to the new mom's celebration.

Add a Caterpillar Cupcake Cake decorated with pastel frostings, and toss in a copy of the book signed on the inside covers with all who attended, and you've got yourself the makings of memorable day.

Baby Aspen is being incredibly generous and is giving away the Caterpillar Crawlers to six of my blog readers!
