About Me

Hi!  I'm Tammy a 30 something Christian wife and mom to a 17 year old girl.

My family and I enjoy sharing on this site the things in life that make us smile.

When we're not in front of the computers, we're likely watching a 3D Blu-Ray, playing a Wii, PS3 or DS game, or schooling, and when we're not doing all that at home, well we're doing it while we travel!

Here on Three Different Directions, I blog about home & family, recipes, travel and the things we enjoy in life. Along with my family, we have two other families with young children that take part in our reviewing process.

Did I mention I love to travel?!  Combining brands and travel is something I love to blog about.  Besides our own personal vacations on the Disney Cruise Line, I have had the pleasure to blog about:

On the Ranch - a series of posts where I was part of a media trip on behalf of the Beef Checkoff and the NCBA to Nebraska where I learned about how our beef gets from pasture to table.

BlogEats - presented by Kraft Foods.  A trip to Illinois and the Kraft Kitchens allowed me to blog about recipes, new products and some food photography tips.

Check out the posts on the Kentucky Derby, where thanks to Pure Leaf Iced Tea, I met Gail Simmons from Bravo's Top Chef and shared about their new branding as well as cocktails and food pairings featuring Pure Leaf.  The Run for the Roses was an exciting event to be a part of!

I'm also big into safety and am a Live Secure Safety Squad Ambassador for Master Lock.  I count it a privilege to be able to share products and tips with my readers that help them and their families live secure.  I also was invited to attend The Allstate Foundation's Teen Driving Summit in Chicago in July of 2012, to share the message of teen driving safety with my network.

Thanks for checking out my blog and I hope you'll come back again!
