Random House is introducing a new tween book series aimed at girls called The Fairy Godmother Academy. From what I can see from the synopsis and the soon to be launched website, www.fairygodmotheracademy.com, based on the book series (it is in preview mode right now), this series looks delightful. I know Amber would have loved it a couple of years ago when she was at that stage of reading.

The website will be filled with games and activities and safe social networking for the young participants.

Birdies' Book, the first in the series, is to be released on August 25th and will have a sticker price of $7.99. If you know of a young girl that would love to have it hot off the press it is available for pre-order.
